PRECISION GRADING is an owner operated earthmoving business primarily developed to supplement local industries specialising in the areas of road construction and road maintenance.

Precision Grading has the experience and equipment that can assist you with your maintenance and construction programs. We are a professional business unit that is very familiar with local government requirements and can increase your productivity in the work place. We are experienced in creating safe working practises, considering workers, road users and environmental issues.

PRECISION GRADING was established in the year 2000 and has quickly gained a reputation of an efficient, reliable and effective road grading team. The main feedback we receive is how well we work together with very little supervision.

GRADER – VOLVO G946 and G940 models

We have 3 Volvo Graders, one G946 and two G940 models. The G946 is a 6 wheel drive with twin receiver GPS trimble guidance.

TRACTORS

Our tractors include:
2014 Fendt with font end loader, full vairo transmission, 4 wheel drive and 200 h/p.
2010 JCB 8250, full vairo transmission, 4 wheel drive, 260 h/p.
2009 Case CVX 150 with front end loader, 4 wheel drive, 150 h/p.

COMBINATION ROLLER – 2010 Broons

This roller has been reconditioned, with all new drum bearings, 11 new compaction tyres and custom made hydraulic rams. It is a very reliable machine. It can also be hired on a "Dry hire" basis.

WATER TRUCK – IVECO ACCO

Has a 20,000 litres capacity purpose built tank with many extra features to cover a wide range of watering applications. It is very well set up and maintained.

RISK ASSESSMENTS

All plant has under gone hazard risk assessments. We have comprehensive insure cover on all plant, as well as $20,000,000.00 of public liability insurance cover, and work care cover.

All operators have construction induction cards, operator competency certificates and have obtained level 2 first aid certificates. We are a well organised team and are keen to be involved in any opportunities you may have.

RANGE OF TRACTOR MOUNTED GRASS VEGITATION MULCHERS

Vegetation mulching is the best way to reduce fire fuel loads and maintaining fire breaks in environmentally sensitive areas. These mulchers are ideal for a very low cut, we have set these mower/mulchers up with a hydraulic top links so their cutting height can be adjusted without stopping to cope with changing conditions. These machines are very robust and yet can still achieve a very smooth neat cut for ovals and airstrips.
