PRECISION GRADING is an owner operated earthmoving business primarily developed to supplement local industries specialising in the areas of road construction, road maintenance. Precision Grading has the experience and equipment that can assist you with your maintenance and construction programs. We are a professional business unit that is very familiar with local government requirements and can increase your productivity in the work place. We are experienced in creating safe working practises, considering workers, road users and environmental issues. PRECISION GRADING was established in the year 2000 and has quickly gained a reputation of an efficient, reliable and effective road grading team. The main feedback we receive is how well we work together with very little supervision.
GRADER – 2000 model CHAMPION/VOLVO 180 h/p articulated Grader
We have fitted this grader with many new factory upgrades to improve safety and performance of this machine. It has a 2008 model intercooled and turbo charged 6.0 liter Cummings engine which delivers great performance coupled with excellent fuel economy. Around 10 to 12 litres per hour.
TRACTOR – MERCEDES BENZ MB TRAC 1500 four-wheel drive tractor
The tractors have 18.4 X 34 NOKIA industrial radial tyres, making it very safe to operate in a range of conditions. These tractors have suspension, four equal sized wheels, and a four wheel braking system. These features help make a safer workplace for the operator.
COMBINATION ROLLER – CATFORD 12 ton combination roller
This roller has been reconditioned, with all new drum bearings, 11 new compaction tyres and custom made hydraulic rams. It is a very reliable machine. It can also be hired on a "Dry hire" basis.
WATER TRUCK – WHITE ROAD BOSS ridged
Has a 12000 litres capacity purpose built tank with many extra features to cover a wide range of watering applications. It is very well set up and maintained.
RISK ASSESSMENTS
All plant has under gone hazard risk assessments. We have comprehensive insure cover on all plant, as well as $20,000,000.00 of public liability insurance cover, and work care cover. All operators have construction induction cards, operator competency certificates and have obtained level 2 first aid certificates. We are a well organised team and are keen to be involved in any opportunities you may have.

Vegetation mulching is the best way to reduce fire fuel loads and maintaining fire breaks in environmentally sensitive areas. These mulchers are ideal for a very low cut, we have set these mower/mulchers up with a hydraulic top links so their cutting height can be adjusted without stopping to cope with changing conditions. These machines are very robust and yet can still achieve a very smooth neat cut for ovals and airstrips.
